Weston Performance Ltd was started by the owner in 2005, although the idea for this business goes back a number of years. The mission was to offer a high level of engineering accuracy coupled with efficiency to provide a high performance tuning service in an area of the country not previously regarded for its localised expertise in this field.

Up until now, no company with our state of the art facilities representing considerable investment existed in the Midlands, with owners of high performance vehicles and Japanese sports cars having to travel south to London and Essex or further north.

Indeed the owner himself has travelled to tuners in Essex on several occasions for various major vehicle upgrades at great cost.

With our other planned cars also requiring specialist diagnostic and tuning skills, high performance upgrade packages etc and along with a growing number of local specialist car owners who were unable to find such experience locally, the idea of launching Weston Performance in the centre of the country was born in March 2005.

One year on and several hundred thousand pounds later the business is now open and located on Cranmore Business Park in Solihull in the West Midlands, five minutes from the NEC in its own high security premises and grounds.

The theme throughout was to create far more than just another tuning firm, but more of an overall experience in presentation and standards largely unseen before in this market.

In a very short space of time, we already have a full workshop with numerous cars from high power Skylines, Supra's, Mitsubishis, subaru's, Cosworth's and various other European vehicles.

These vehicles are undergoing anything from stage one upgrades to full engine re-builds all of which are in the safe hands of our specially trained engineers and technicians specifically recruited from the motorsport industry in our fully equipped race workshop.

No expense has been spared in setting up this company including, we are told by a leading Dynamometer Manufacturer, ‘the best designed and advanced dyno cell in the country by a mile’.

This of course is our showpiece and a facility of which we are justifiably proud and cements our arrival in this industry right at the top in terms of high investment and facilities exactly in line with our original ideas and plans.

We shall be having an official launch party and opening around mid June 2006 ( when its warmer! )
